8 Ways to Get a Hot Hollywood Body …

There are a lot of hot bodies in Hollywood, bodies belonging to men and women alike, and although attaining that kind of perfection might seem like an impossible pipe dream, I promise you that there are many ways to get a hot Hollywood body. A lot of those ways are even easier than you might expect. Think of your favorite stunning Hollywood starlets, women like Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie, Cameron Diaz, and every other tight, toned, sizzling celebrity you can imagine. If you want to stun like that, here are just some of the ways to get a hot Hollywood body like your favorite silver screen vixen.

1. Be Grateful for Exercise

What? I know, this sounds a little crazy, but it really is one way to get a hot Hollywood body. See, it’s all about your frame of mind. You can’t start thinking that exercise is some kind of chore, something to trudge through. Instead, try to feel grateful that you have time to exercise, that you have enough time during your busy day to really take care of your body. If you consider it a privilege instead of a chore, it will be easier to workout regularly.

2. Hold Yourself Accountable

You need to be accountable for everything you eat. No one is standing behind you, threatening to kill your loved ones if you don’t eat that gooey hot fudge sundae. If you’re an emotional eater, you have to hold yourself responsible for that, too; don’t use it as an excuse. Start a food journal, try to learn about and exercise portion control, and be aware of how many calories you’re eating without becoming obsessive.

3. Hold onto Your Virtue

What I mean by this is that you have to be virtuous. Don’t keep putting off your workout. If you get it over and done with in the morning, for instance, then you’ll feel proud of yourself the rest of the day. That, in turn, will help inspire you the next morning.

4. Rejoice in What You’ve Got

You’re not Angelina Jolie or Victoria Beckham or Emma Watson. You’re you and you have to love what you have. You’ll never find the perfect way to get a hot Hollywood body because there is no perfect way, there’s no magic involved. You have to appreciate what you have right now, and improve it only to please yourself. You have to want to be a better you – you can’t want to be someone else.

5. Have a Kettlebell

A lot of hot Hollywood babes are into using kettlebells these days. This is how Anna Paquin makes herself true hot on True Blood. You can increase your strength without getting all bulky, you get plenty of cardio, and your entire body gets a good workout – but it only takes 20 minutes! Stay tuned later, and we’ll take a look at some awesome kettlebell techniques!

6. Set Attainable Goals

If your goal is, “I want to look like Jessica Alba,” you need a new goal. The goals you set when you’re trying to get fit have to be realistic. You can’t lose 30 pounds in a week or even, necessarily, a month, you can’t cut your calories down to 700 a day, and you can’t make yourself physically look like a Hollywood starlet. Set healthy, attainable goals, and when you make them, set some more.

7. Do Jack Squat

That being said, one sure way to get a hot Hollywood body is to do a lot of squatting. Squats even beat the Buns of Steel workout when it comes to giving you a sexy butt! Your legs will look incredible too, and you won’t have to spend a ton of money at the gym.

8. Work Inside-Out

If you’re not healthy inside, you won’t be healthy outside. If you don’t feel beautiful inside, you’ll never feel beautiful outside. You have to nourish and enrich your mind as well as your body. Otherwise, you’ll never really be happy with yourself.
All these ways to get a hot Hollywood body have one important thing in common: you have to work at it. It takes a lot of time, effort, and determination to look like all those sexy girls in LA. If you want sculpted abs, toned legs, and muscled arms, you’ve gotta work for it! Do you have any other stellar toning tips you’d be willing to share? Let me know in the comments!

7 Ways To Cope With Aging Parents …

Since people are living longer, the chances are that one day, nearly all of us will have to cope with aging parents or grandparents. It’s hard to watch them grow older and increasingly frail, but it’s as well to be prepared for the future. So whether you’re in this situation now, or it’s hopefully a long way off, here are some tips to help you care for your parents or deal with their advancing years.

1. Look After Yourself

Having elderly parents is hard work emotionally and physically if you look after them yourself, but it is also emotionally taxing even if you don’t. It’s important to look after your own health, as in order to be any good to someone else you have to be well yourself. So try to ensure that you eat and sleep well, and have some time to yourself.

2. Guilt-Free Zone

It’s often seen as the family’s duty to look after an elderly relative, but I will be honest and say I know I couldn’t do it. Nor do I feel guilty about feeling that way, it’s simply being realistic. It’s important to know what you can and can’t cope with. Some people want to look after their parents, but not everyone can.

3. Resist Pressure

I have seen the pressure that can be put on people to look after a relative and it is destructive. By all means, if you want to do it and can cope, then go ahead, but don’t allow anyone to make you feel obliged. That is simply not fair, and it’s also not helpful to the person who needs care if you’re forced into looking after them.

4. Natural Event

It’s hard to foresee at what point our parents will start to seem ‘old’. Perhaps it’s best not to dwell on it too much, but it’s still important to accept that it is an inevitability and that one day they will either be elderly or sadly no longer around. It’s part of life.

5. Acceptance

It’s hard enough to deal with the fact that we ourselves will get old one day, but of course it comes sooner for our parents. And sometimes it can happen quite quickly, through accident or illness. A sudden change can be hard to come to terms with, but since the situation can’t be reversed we have to accept it, rather than wish that things were as they used to be.

6. Anticipate

Obviously we need to live our lives without constantly worrying about the future, but being prepared is wise. For example, perhaps it might be worth discussing with your parents a move to a smaller house, or putting in a downstairs bathroom in case they find it hard to get upstairs one day.

7. Support

One thing carers absolutely need is support. If you are caring for aging parents, look for any source of support that you can find. Whether it’s relatives, social services, neighbours or paid help, don’t shoulder all the work yourself – and find someone to talk to if you are finding it tough.
Sadly, dealing with aging parents is pretty much inevitable at some point – these days, people may have young children as well – so it’s something that we need to face. How do you feel and what are your own experiences – have you cared for elderly relatives?
