7 Fashion Tips You Will Love …

Ever walk into your closet some mornings and just HATE everything you try on? I think that’s a horrible dilemma most women face, and sometimes it seems to be on a daily basis! Annoying, yes, but there are certain fashion tips you will love that can change the way you look at getting dressed in the morning! I have 7 fashion tips you will love. With these tips getting dressed in the morning will be a breeze! You will love pulling outfits together and making it look effortless. If you love fashion and style this article is for you! So please keep reading my article and 7 fashion tips you will love and I think you will enjoy it!

1. Belt It In

A loose, flowy top with a belt cinched at the waist can make a huge statement. You can buy tops that are one size too large on purpose with the sole intention of wearing them this way! And dresses can look amazing worn this way as well. Just make sure you choose straight dresses, not fitted ones, which are meant to be worn in the correct size for you. And invest in a few different color belts, which will give you options to play with!

2. Basics

Always, always, ALWAYS have a little black dress, black heels, silver hoops, a white fitted blouse, and denim pencil skirt and a pair of jeans that fit you perfectly in your closet. These will be your go-to items when you need to get dressed in a big rush and don’t have time to think about what to wear. It’s also a good idea to have a couple of neutral color bags and flats to accessorize with. You can do colored ones to, but the basic colors like brown, tan and black are good to have on hand for days you don’t have time to pull together a cute color scheme. My favorite neutral color is a bronzy-black shade that works well with black or brown-based outfits.

3. Stripes

Stripes are a great way to add some pizazz to your outfit in a really classy way without being over done. Think pin stripes for work, and bigger stripes for casual days. Really big and bold stripes are fun for weekends! They key to stripes is balance. If you want to make an area appear larger, then do horizontal stripes. In order to seem taller or make and area look smaller, do vertical stripes. So on days when you feel sort of fat and not-so-hot, DON’T reach for horizontal stripes! Not the best way to feel like a sexy mama!

4. Accessorize

Don’t ever forget the power of accessorizing! I love to play with scarves and long chunky necklaces. Big bangle bracelets and intricate cuffs are pretty hip and add character to any outfit. One statement piece of jewelry can totally transform an outfit so buy a few pieces to have on hand. Huge earrings can frame your face really well, and big cocktail rings or vintage pins will be an in-your-face hello! Just please don’t ever wear ankle bracelets or toe rings to work or in any setting where you need to be taken seriously.

5. Shoes

Don’t overlook the power of shoes! This is an important fashion tip you will love. It’s important to choose a pair that are comfortable, yet make a fashionable statement! Nude heels will make your legs appear long and beautiful. Wedges are a classy girly shoe that work for almost any situation. Flats can be dressed up or down, while sandals work best for weekends. Boots are always sexy and you can usually wear them to work. Black and brown pumps are stylish and chic. Find your shoe persona and stick with it!

6. Balance

The key to pulling off any great outfit is B-A-L-A-N-C-E. Another fashion tip you will love: always stick to one tailored item of clothing. If you are wearing a full skirt or baggy jeans, do a tailored blouse on top. If you are wearing a baggy or loose fitting blouse, stick with something more fitted on the bottom. You want to appear skinny and sexy right? So you need to make sure that you don’t wear all baggy clothes and appear several pounds heavier than you really are,

7. Illusions

Finally, my very best fashion tip that you will love! When playing with fashion, it’s important to give the illusion of whatever you want. You can make yourself look taller, skinnier, shorter, plumper or even younger and older just by what you choose to wear. Be sure and pick age appropriate clothing, and remember that dark colors make you appear thinner, and light colors make you appear larger. V-necks will give the illusion of a longer leaner body, while boat necks do just the opposite. It’s all about the illusion you want to portray!
I hope this article has given you some great pointers and you have less frustration when trying to decide what to wear in the mornings! I know that being rushed on top of being frustrated is no fun for anyone. Do you have any fashion tips that you would love to share with us? Please comment below, we would love to hear from you!
